Governing

 

How is the organizations governed NWKA has no President/Chairman nor a Chief Instructor. The main governing body that runs the organization is called the Executive Governing Committee (EGC). The committee operates as the chairperson and produce rules and policies. Some of these policies come from the committee as it sees needed to run NWKA, and some come to the committee from the membership via the Shihankai, and in turn become policies. All our instructors are referred to by Sensei and we do not endorse any other titles.
